Everyone knows that, in this global economy, technology plays a major role in helping businesses keep pace and/or stay ahead of curve.  The most successful companies, and the ultimate leaders, are the ones that effectively use technology to bring efficiencies to their organization.

This is equally true in the insurance industry, whether you are a third party administrator, part of an insurance pool, a carriers, or self-insured/self-administered. There are many efficiencies and benefits that can be gained from using new software capabilities and modern technologies. Technology can be used to make your life easier and let you focus on your core competency, but like with anything new, there are often challenges you must face before you realize the benefits.

4iTUG, a technology-oriented user group for insurance professionals, hosted by 4iSoft, was formed to enable insurance professionals to share their experiences and seek answers to technology related questions without compromising confidential business information. With the open forum, it is easy to share technology experiences, good and bad, and gain meaningful insights from others who are journeying along the same or similar paths.  Our goal at 4iSoft is to provide a solution – to address the need for a neutral arena to discuss technology issues facing the insurance industry, whether it be a fantastic solution that others can benefit from, or a challenge in using a ‘fantastic solution’. We are your facilitator, hosting periodic webinars, bringing together different entities, all with different insurance system solutions, to share ideas and experiences as they confront the challenges, but gain the benefits, of technology. We are open to any topic for discussion – just let us know what technology areas interests you and we will provide the forum: implementing a new system or a new product, handling new claims and/or policy regulations, interfacing with third parties, developing new solutions to bothersome issues, combating fraud, the how-to on writing reports, extracting data, analyzing data, or complying with industry regulation changes.
